The automotive trade in Finland is fragmented, and the size of the players varies greatly. The industry includes both regional family-owned companies and national players. We have expanded from the Northern Finland automotive market to become a nationwide automotive player by opening entirely new branches and acquiring them through corporate arrangements. We currently operate in 19 locations across Finland.
Thanks to our extensive brand representation and store network, we have a strong market position in passenger car sales and maintenance, as well as in heavy vehicles, as we can meet the diverse needs of a very wide customer base.

The electrification of motoring, digitalisation and changes in distribution models create consolidation pressure in the automotive industry. The automotive industry is globally moving towards larger, stronger, and more profitable units that have the ability to invest in growth, the necessary expertise, and the resources to drive change in the industry. Wetteri is a domestic consolidator in the automotive sector, focusing its acquisitions on synergy benefits, improving operational efficiency and strengthening its market position.
Wetteri has developed its digital services and online channels and intends to continue this development work. The digitalisation of maintenance operations and contactless services have been and continue to be areas of development. We will continue to invest in the direct mechanic operating model, which increases efficiency.
The price development of traditional fuels and general environmental awareness are increasing the demand for alternative driving power options for both new and used cars. This is expected to increase demand for new cars and keep order books strong. The structure of used car sales is expected to change, with demand for vehicles with traditional driving powers decreasing and demand for vehicles with modern driving powers increasing.
